Balance

(Wrote this back in 2006.)

Soft desires can be traced, thinned as a speck of sand
Love can be captured in ways we don’t understand
The heart always seems to be willing to take a chance

 In the back of my mind, I thought why I don’t have a say anymore
Heart and mind splinted into two different worlds

 My mind tries to keep a balance
Between positive and negative

 How can I keep adding up all the positives when they turned into negatives

 What am I suppose to do, you tell me

Fauna eyelids lift only to slowly reveal the color of grape wine. The first thing she focuses on is the ceiling. A beautiful landscape had been painted in detail above the bed. It was so lifelike in every way. The brilliance of it was the waterfall and the forest on one side of the mountain, nearby the village.
